Feature Article

Writing a Feature Article was one of the most challenging and coolest projects I’ve ever done in this class. 

For the feature article we had to interview one of our classmates and ask questions to get to know each other. The experience starts from there. We hardly take the time to get to know each other, and for this activity we had almost 30 minutes to interview a person we are not very close to and work with vulnerability.

After that, we had to listen carefully to the interview, review notes and create a news story with what the person said. This is a great exercise to value each other. We all have interesting stories to share.

In addition to this special attention we had to give to what the person interviewed said, we had to experiment with another style of writing.

I really enjoyed this activity as a whole, and it was a great exercise to see things around us from another point of view.
